This artwork compares the exploration of icy pieces in relation to each other with various kinds of counting occasioned by an event like the loss of a loved one; contemplation of these shifting ice berg – like parts recalls the abacus Inventorying of regrets, stepping stone noting of moments, hours, and years that pass when you miss someone. The reference to the Hans Christian Anderson Fairy Tale makes a loose connection between ice, glass and tears a suggestion that connects feeling /  grieving with the passage of time marked by seasons.
